It is also unsuitable for hot-fill processes where temperatures approach the melting point of low-density polyethylene.

The virgin LDPE material offers excellent heat sealable properties. Operators can easily close the bags using manual heat sealers or integrate them into high-speed automated packaging machinery. While the film is thin, it provides good puncture resistance against blunt objects and has high tensile strength when stretched. The transparent blue tint helps with visual inspection. Warehouse staff can easily check the contents of the bag and read printed labels or scan barcodes through the plastic.
